Design plays a crucial role when moving towards circular economy. It can be said that everything else depends on it; no matter how intelligently waste gets handled or whether materials are recyclable, design will either enable or hinder maintenance, repair, sharing, reuse, refurbishment, take back and remanufacturing, which are inner loops and cornerstones of CE.
Ethica conducted the research for De Groene Zaak, interviewing companies like Accenture, Click NL Design, Desso, Lumeco, Philips, ROCKWOOL B.V, Van Houtum. The report was published in November 2015.
