Alexandre LeMille bio

Involved with the Circular Economy since 2011, Alexandre has suggested a human-embedded version of Circular Economy: A Circular Economy 2.0 (2014). Alexandre was then recognized by the World Economic Forum as “Highly Commended” in the Circular Economy Leadership category (The Circulars 2016). In 2017 his proposal of Optimizing Circular Value (#OCV) was highlighted by the Chatham House UK as an outcome-based measurement and valorisation tool focusing on “whether a person’s needs have been addressed rather than measuring a product circularity per se”. In 2018, he was listed as “Top 25” innovative person by ChangeHackers for his Circular Humansphere.

Alexandre is the co-founder of the African Circular Economy Network, and is a visiting lecturer at Sciences Po Paris (France) and at the University of Cape Town (South Africa).
